KaamosMail is an advertisement and tracking free email and groupware service provided by KaamosCreations. Please find below some information on the provided services as well as answers to frequently asked questions.
Email Access
With an email account at KaamosMail.com, you can access your emails either through a:
- webmail client, which you can open in any modern internet browser (we recommend Mozilla Firefox);
- email client on your device (see "How to connect to an email client" below).
Please set an alternative email address in the webmail client, so you can promptly reset your password in case you lose it (see How to recover my lost password?).
Groupware
Additionally, at the internet address https://KaamosMail.com we provide a potent groupware suite based on Nextcloud which provides you with:
- Access to your emails
- Calender, contacts, tasks, and appointment bookings, that can be synchronized with other devices (such as mobile phones)
- A video-conference/chat server, where you can host video calls
- File sharing and storage
- Online office suite
- Notes
- Kanban style organisation tool for planning and project managment
- Polls

- How to connect to an email client
You can access your emails to a client on your desktop computer or mobile phone (we recommend the Mozilla open source projects Thunderbird for desktops and K9-Mail for mobile phones).
The settings should be automatically detected when adding your account, but if your client asks for manual setup, please use the credentials below:
Incoming (IMAP):
server: mail.kaamosmail.com
port: 143
security: STARTLS
authentication: password, normal
username: <your-email-address>
Outgoing (SMTP):
server: mail.kaamosmail.com
port: 587

Log in to the webmail service at https://webmail.kaamosmail.com (with your email-address and password), go to --> Settings and --> Password.
- How to recover my lost password?
You can reset a forgotten password after you have added an additional email address to your account (see "How to set an alternative email address?").
Go to the login page of the webmail service, and click on the "Forgot password" link beneath the login.
A confirmation code will be sent to your defined alternative email address, with which you can recover your password.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have not set an alternative email address, you cannot recover your password yourself. In this case, please contact @email
- How to set an alternative email address?
You can set an alternative email address in your profile, which is required in case you lose your password and want to reset it.
To set an alternative email address, login to the webmail service at https://webmail.kaamosmail.com, go to --> Settings and --> Identities.
In your identity profile you can set an alternative email address in the corresponding field.
Don't forget to click save after adding your address.
